showered with baby stuff

Our baby shower was yesterday and it was amazing. The work my mom, sister, Jon's mom and aunt, and some of my sister's friends (Logan and Hannah) and my friends (Nikki and Dez) put into making this happen was a testament to their kindness. Everyone who came truly showered us with blessings--we have 99.9% of what we need for the baby now. Here are some of the decor pictures from our orange and bicycle themed baby shower:
Guests wore blue tricycle buttons if they think Baby Flip is a boy or pink if they think BF is a girl:
The favors were homemade chocolate suckers and candies made by Jon's mom and aunt in a burlap bag with a tricycle that my mom put together:
My mom made pink champagne cupcakes and peanut butter chocolate cupcakes and topped them with these cute little banners:
And another view:

I didn't get any pictures of all the food we had, including the two delicious types of punch my sister and Logan made, but rest assured when I tell you it was very delicious and I probably drank about a gallon of punch. I hope to add some pictures of the shower in progress once I get them all from my dad, but I couldn't wait to post the pictures of the items I had on our camera.

  1. Where did you get the pink and blue tricycle buttons?

    1. My mom made them--she bought clip art, edited them in a photo editing software to make them pink or blue, and used a button maker to make them. I actually think I might have some extra laying around that I'd be happy to send you if you'd like them... shoot me an email at youngnotpowerless {at} gmail {dot} com
