getaway part 1

I'm breaking this apart into two posts mostly because of the picture quantity and also because I do what I want. Last night Jon and I spent our first night away from Elden. We had been planning this for about a month or so and landed on traveling to Wooster, Ohio, because it had been rated as the best main street in Ohio by a random website I found. Winner of the year for decision making process up in hurr. We found a freaking adorable bed and breakfast, the Market Street Inn, and were instantly sold by the pictures of the breakfast because we're fat. Exhibit B to being decision making winners.

Yesterday afternoon I took a half day at work and my mom and sister came over to keep Elden company.
a little bit later and he was skinny dipping in a kiddy pool in our backyard
A short 50-minute car ride later and we arrived and got settled. We took off to explore downtown Wooster and grab a bite to eat.
At one point we passed a flyer in a window that literally used the phrase 'Winner Winner Chicken Dinner' on it. Totally our kind of town.
We stumbled upon a little deli called Spoon Market and split an Italian sub, chips and an almond cream soda.
I'm not going to lie, I fell madly in love with that place! It was amazing and I suspect there will be times we make the trek to Wooster just to eat there. We perused several antique shops and a gem called the Rubbermaid Store (4 levels, one of which was called 'Bargainland') and headed for dinner at C.W. Burgerstein.
I had a Sex on the Beach to accompany my meal which, if you know me at all, you know was more than enough to make me pretty impaired. On our walk back to the inn we passed a little ice cream joint (the name escapes me... see also: impairment) and Jon made the bad decision of allowing me to choose how much ice cream we should order to split.
I ordered us a large blizzard. It was about a large blizzard too big. We took one for the team and finished it anyway.
