Linking up with MelSheaffer, and Shay!

What we're eating this week:
Sunday: Leftover pizza / hamburgers

We also decided to try this vegan coconut milk yogurt recipe and started it earlier this week!

Monday: Copycat PF Chang's tofu lettuce wraps

Tuesday: Chickpea gyros

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday: Kale and white cheddar quesadillas (for me) and black bean tacos (for Jon)

Friday: Homemade pizza

Saturday: Leftovers

What I'm reminiscing about:
How little my babies used to be :-(
 ^Elden
^Edith

(and Etta was still in my stomach this time last year)

What I'm loving:
This song -

What we've been up to:
Edith's birthday celebration, including trying our hand at this princess cake.

Lots of fun fall parties and dinners.

What I'm dreading:
Winter. When I first checked my weather app on Monday morning there was a little snowflake icon in the 10-day forecast. Thankfully that has since changed to a rain icon, but...

What I'm working on:
I've been happily pinning away DIY Christmas gift ideas for the ladies in our small group. I have a few ideas but it's so hard thinking of something that everyone would use. If you have any ideas drop them in the comments!

What I'm excited about:
Halloween! This weekend we are going to a trick or treat event at a local church that will feature a petting zoo with kangaroos...how cool is that?! Then for trick or treat, our neighborhood is seriously the best. Some of our neighbors hand out full sized candy bars to our kids. Our families and a few friends usually join us. This year I'm taking Halloween off work for Elden's school parade. It's going to be a lot of fun!

What I'm watching/reading:
Modern Family, The Mindy Project, The Goldbergs, and Superstore.

Still not reading anything...

What I'm listening to:

What I'm wearing:

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I am obsessed with all things Swap. I recently got these Zara jeggings and this Market & Spruce jacket for less than $30:
One thing I really love about Swap is that you can set alerts for specific brands. Since I loved the way the Stitch Fix clothes I was sent fit me but couldn't justify the price tags, I set alerts on Swap for some of the brands - that's how I found the jacket basically as soon as it was posted. Since the clothes are about 1/4 the price of the brand new Stitch Fix ones, I've been able to find clothes that fit me well but are affordable!

What I'm doing:
Christmas shopping! We are almost entirely done shopping for the kids and we've started on our family's gifts.

What I'm looking forward to next month:
November is full of fun things! In November, we will celebrate Jon's 30th birthday, Etta's 1st birthday and Thanksgiving. I have a really fun night planned for Jon's 30th that I can't wait for.
